Back in November, I was fortunate to spend a week on the Faroe Islands. The reason I was there, was to shoot the new Land Rover Discovery Sport.
We had a week of wet and windy weather, which matched perfectly the remoteness of the beautifully wild landscape, and importantly the brief, which called for dramatic and rich imagery.
As someone that is drawn to the drama of remote landscape, and who has only ever owned and driven Land Rovers, you could say it was a dream job!
Client : Land Rover. Agency : Redwood. AD : Dan Delaney.
Below is a selection of the work, with larger versions here.
A portion of the shoot also involved making portraits. They were based around the story of Koks restaurant, and the unique Faroese ingredients that they use.
Below are sea weed specialists Agnes Mols Mortensen and her brother and business partner, Morten. Áki Herálvssonand, the head chef at Koks, and farmer Jóannes Patursson.

And finally, I couldn’t resist showing a picture of the support vehicle that Land Rover provided. A fully kitted out Discovery 4 HSE..
